I've had no luck getting it working right. When it starts up,
I just see flashing "dead image" icons where it appears that tiles should be
drawn. </FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I've got GD installed into PHP now, i'm reasonably
sure I've got config.php set properly, and i'm trying to use it on the gmap-40ms
demo map. </FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I found that if I try scrolling the map up and to
the right I find a small part of the map actually drawing... but it appears to
be just one layer and only a few tiles of it. Some of the
tiles around it render as plain white squares, while others continue flashing
the "dead image" icon. </FONT></DIV>

i'm talkinga bout better than my description.</FONT></DIV>

the config file, in firefox. The first image is when I first
start the application and scroll so that the rendered tiles are in the
screen. The next one shows what it looks like as a few more tiles
appear, and then I scrolled away and let more tiles render and as you can
see none of them have any mapping in them.. they are just white. </FONT></DIV>

again in IE... I've scrolled so that the few tiles are in view but you can see
around it are white tiles or dead image tiles.</FONT></DIV>
