When I tried this I ran into problems with the visibility of the tile
image... sometimes the image source is 'a_pixel' but the image
visibility is 'hidden', so the loading message doesn't show anyway.
Also, 'a_pixel' is used elsewhere, like in the default index.php.<br>

I run in the same problem. I tried to use a counter, but sometimes the
counter goes negative and others it goes to 0. So, I'm using another
solution to that problem. I just changed the a_pixel.gif to a loading
image with the same size of my tyles (256x256).

I think it is better then nothing and maybe it can be the default for
Ka-Map. What do u think?<br>
