Yes dbf update you need to make separately.<br>Dbf update is possible to make using php dBase functions (<a href="http://lv2.php.net/dbase">http://lv2.php.net/dbase</a>), if you are using PHP for scripts.<br><br>pb<br><br>

You can do it with php-mapscript using shapefileObj class if you use shapefile (see: <a href="http://mapserver.gis.umn.edu/docs/reference/phpmapscript-class/classes/shapefileobj/?searchterm=shapefileobj" target="_blank">http://mapserver.gis.umn.edu/docs/reference/phpmapscript-class/classes/shapefileobj/?searchterm=shapefileobj</a>).<br>
If your data are in database you can write your serverside scripts without php-mapscript usage for data insert or editing directly to database.<br>
