http://www.maptools.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=163 Summary: Map size other than 400x300 corrupts coordinates in preview Product: MapLab Version: 3.0 Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows 2000 Status: NEW Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: Preview AssignedTo: maplab-dev@lists.maptools.org ReportedBy: tmitchell@lignum.com There is something wrong with the way preview works. If I change my map to show anything other 400 x 300 - the pixel<->coordinate translation gets severely mucked up. If I select an area to zoom to, it doesn't do it properly, zooming in somewhere else on the map. I happened to be changing projection settings around the same time I changed the map size, so it took me a while to realize that my projections were NOT the problem. :) The problem is most pronounced when both width and height are different than the default, since minor changes in one or the other may not be that noticeable to the user. I thought it might be an issue of aspect ratio, but even keeping the ratio the same creates the same problem. All my tests were in IE 6 - can other confirm this as a bug? If so, I assume maplab should just ignore the map size setting altogether OR scale the preview map to fit the map size. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.
