The map can be saved when the preview is not shown, so it should not be necessary to abandon 
changes. From the current CVS version, there are some issues with the javascript tree not being 
refreshed, but these will be addressed and the current workaround is to manually reload the 
treeview frame.

The preview can be 'restarted' by clicking the icon with the eyeglasses in the main toolbar. In my 
tests, that recovered from the described problem.
