this is ok when accessing maplab's htdocs folder directly but going through an alias, like the one ms4w 
creates breaks the js function that handles this. Instead of creating a separate alias for the tutorial, I 
moved the files into a new 'tutorial' subdirectory under htdocs which I think is more appropriate
