This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_00E4_01C302E0.68F851A0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Can I use spatial data held in MySQL as a data source for a maplab = project? I've seen a question go unanswered on this before. The reason i ask is because i'm running winXP and have been unable to = get postgresql running correctly - without even getting to the stage of = adding postgis.. so i'm hoping to go back to MySQL and thump my data = into that instead. Whilst i'm here: I'd appreciate your thoughts on this: I wish to build a = map service where users can click on a location on the map and enter = details which will be stored as a point. I'm hoping to read/write data = to MySQL and modify a MapLab project to get what i want. Would this be a = sensible approach?
