I'm not sure where that extra character is coming from but the error is not being generated by Maplab. Do you have some sort of proxy or firewall system in place? It could also be a misconfiguration of your webserver. If you're using apache, look to see what you have in lines containing ServerName in your configuration file. -- Zak James Applications and Software Development DM Solutions Group Inc. http://www.dmsolutions.ca On Friday, September 26, 2003, at 06:40 AM, ronny wrote: > > am trying to use maplab application to edit/open > mapfiles but it's seems the application is not > behaving well,,it's adding a | or something like that > at the the hostname/IP's,,i mean when i look at the > status bar of my browser i can see "resolving > ns.myhostname|" then an alert comes up "ns.myhostname| > could not be found. Please check the name and try > again."..it will happen even if i disable > ns.myhostname and use localhost..anything the matter > here? > > any help/suggestion will be highly appreciated. > > thanks > > ===== > ronny > > __________________________________ > Do you Yahoo!? > The New Yahoo!
