Hello,
I'm quite new to MapLab but my first impression is very good and I
would really like to use these tools.
The problem:
I create a new map file or open a new one in MapEdit.
I add a PROJECTION and a METADATA to the MAP.
I add a LAYER.
I add a PROJECTION and a METADATA to the LAYER.
Now comes a very strange behaviour. The PROJECTION and METADATA
objects seem to be all the same for the MAP and for the LAYER. That
means if I edit the PROJECTION string for the layer it is changed for
the map, too. If I add a METADATA line to the map metadata the
metadata of the layer is updated, too.
If I select one PROJECTION objects on the left the other one is
hilighted bold, too.
Is this a common problem or do I just have faulty php.ini settings or
sth.?
My system: SuSE Linux 8.2, PHP 5.0.4, Mapserver 4.4.2 + Mapscript
Hopefully someone knows the problem or knows how to fix it.
Best regards,
Sebastian Albrecht
