You're more likely to get assistance with this on the mapserver-users list.

If you're using a gmapfactory application, you aren't going to be able
to do something like this without changing the php code. With that in
mind, a simple approach would be to use mapscript or (or a call to cgi
mapserver) and substitute a variable in the SQL used in your postgis
layer so you get a new layer with the feature you requested.

Details on doing variable substitution (at least for the cgi) are
available on the mapserver.gis.umn.edu site.
