[maplab-users] Fresh install error on adding WMS layers

I have a fresh install of Maplab 2.2.1, everythign works fine except when I try to add layers from a WMS service..  I added the WMS server without a problem and available layers show as well.  Its when I try to click and add one of those layers that I get this error:
 
Error Parsing 	
Description	
Error opening (/opt/fgs/apps/maplab-2.2.1/data//s1abstract.txt) in /maplab/mapbrowser/action.phtml	
Anyone seen this before?
