[maplab-users] Querying in maplab

Hello all,
 
I would like to enhance the capabilities of my ms4w maplab project, in order to offer querying as well. That means, users should be able to put attribute values in specific text fields and only those objects that match the criteria will be returned. 
 
Can maplab offer this kind of features or is it just for map browsing? What kind of software should I use instead (in the second case)?
