[mapserver-users] rendering world data

mapserver-users,

I've trying to render world data (vmap0), with a mercator
projection, and am running into a problem with the USSR polygon
getting messed up, I guess because it extends past the international
dateline at 180 degrees.  It is rendering with horizontal lines with a
sort of inverted effect.  Seems to render fine with ArcView, etc...
but so far no luck with mapserver.   Anyone had any experience with
this type of problem??
