I need some informations for a compilation on linux.

I'm using mapserver 3.5 with php 4.0.5 and all work fine (no crasch or <FontFamily><param>Times New Roman</param><bigger>t<FontFamily><param>Arial</param><smaller>hread-safety 
problems).

I'd like to compile the 3.6.1 version :

  - I read that I need PHP 4.1.2 or latest

  - Do I need to compile it as a CGI script or may I compile it as a DSO module ?
