[mapserver-users] Reference Image

What I did was:

*  go into a web browser and get the layers that I wanted in the 
reference map shown on the main map
*  Zoom to an appropriate extent
*  Look at the Page Source to find the image that was created
*  Manipulate the image a little to display properly.

Hope that helps.  PS.  Doing it this way gives you a PNG or GIF or JPG 
depending on how you have your maps setup.
