Hello there, to start with, my name is Gerald
Villacarlos, Filipino, 21 yrs. old and currently
working in a local GIS Firm here in the Philippines, i
am very much interested about the capabilities of
Mapserver since i have a project about WEB BASED GIS,
that is putting our data to the internet so that our
clients would be able to access them, based form the
description about Mapserver, we are currently using
ESRI's software---> ARcview 3.2 and it does read
ShapeFile, what i am asking for is how would i
possible be able to load my map to the server, 

i have an Apache server with PHP support currently
running in our Local Area Network.

could u give me a basic yet complete steps on how i
could possible do this. 

i believe that this would help me alot in the my
project.
