[mapserver-users] Possible to change scalebar units via PHP/Mapscript?

Hi all,

Does anyone know if it is possible to change the scalebar units via 
PHP/mapscript?  I'm trying to determine if it is possible to have the 
scalebar units defined as, say 'miles' in the .map file, then change them 
to 'kilometers' in the MapObj class via PHP before rendering the scalebar 
image.
