I'm using MapServer just fine on 2000 w/ IIS.  Although, it's much cheaper =
to get up and going with Linux.

How crappy (i.e. what are the limitations) of using MapServer on
2000/IIS.. I have passable Linux/UNIX skills and would probably
go that route, it would just save me the cost of a box (+ the added
maintenance) to install it on our existing machine.
