[Mapserver-users] onMouseOver events

If your looking for a 'how' as opposed to an 'if' I would have to say that it requires using some flavor of Mapscript to read the shape information and dynamically create the imagemap-area coordinates.
However it can deffinitely be done, we use it here with PerlMapscript and I noticed several messages in the archive of applications that dynamically create image maps including the MN LandView app.
As far as creating/syntax for the javascript onmouseover portion there are tutorials online that can help including this one:
