[Mapserver-users] MapServer Oracle question

Hi List

Some questions:

1. Does MapServer need Oracle Spatial to access geographic data in 
Oracle or could Oracle be as well used without the Spatial Option ? 
(i.e. I'd use FME to feed the beast). I suppose I'd need it for the 
Spatial Indexing ?

2. Does MapServer support the additional geometry types of Oracle such 
as the so named "Arc Line String", "Arc Polygon", "Compound Polygon" 
and so on ? If yes, are / how are the Arcs stroked ???
