[Mapserver-users] GDALTINDEX Arg Limit

Damian -

You're probably running up against your OS command-line length limit, not anything specific to gdaltindex.

If you give gdaltindex the name of an existing index file, the file(s) on the command line will be added to that index. So you can just create a loop to run gdaltindex 2143 times, adding one file each time.

Subject: [Mapserver-users] GDALTINDEX Arg Limit

What is the limit on gdaltindex?

I have 2143 images to index, but the arg list is too
long.....

Any suggestions?

TIA
