[Mapserver-users] How to extract symbols from ESRI .avp file?

Hi all,

I need to extract a set of symbol from an ESRI .avp file so I can use 
them with mapserver. I have googled about but I can't find anything 
that is helpful. I would be happy if I could just get a pallet of all 
the symbols in 1:1 scale so I could manually extract them using 
PhotoShop. Oh, and I don't have any Arc* tools other than 
ArcExplorer.

I would appreciate any help or suggestions.
