[Mapserver-users] Mapserver and Oracle 9i

Hi,

On our Solaris 8 install of Oracle, libclntsh.so is in /d/ora/oracle2/oradev/9.2.0.1.0/lib
And the configure of mapserver (3.6.1) works with "--with-oraclespatial=/d/ora/oracle2/oradev/9.2.0.1.0"
The compiled mapserver then pulls data from Oracle Spatial, no problem.

Hi Erik,

I had the same problem a couple weeks ago. I've posted the problem. No 
answer. I've switched to Linux where the compilation has worked fine. When 
I've tried it, it crashed.... No clue... Oracle doesnt seem to be well 
supported with MapServer. Good luck.
