[Mapserver-users] North symbol embeded on Map

Try something like this

...

SYMBOL
  NAME "n_arrow"
  TYPE pixmap
  IMAGE "images/nordpil6.gif"
END

...

LAYER
    NAME "n_arrow"
    STATUS DEFAULT
    TRANSFORM FALSE
    TYPE POINT
    FEATURE
      POINTS 650 80 END
    END
    CLASS
      SYMBOL "n_arrow"
    END
END

Adjust the feature points so that the north_arrow appears in the upper
right corner (or where you want to put it). Since transform is false
these are just pixel values.
