[Mapserver-users] URL as query template

Hi,

has anybody ever used a URL as query template? The documentation tells me 
it should be possible but mapserver tells me

Content-type: text/html msReturnPage(): Unable to access file. 
http://myhost/gew/templates/test.html .

The file does exist and is accessable with this URL.
Any hints?
