[Mapserver-users] $map->numlayers always return zero?

Hello,

I think i've found a bug. When building a map dynamic (ms_newlayerobject) 
with mapscript $map->numlayers always returns zero . I've found a message 
on the mailinglist:

which describes the problem.

I tested this with the stable 4.0 version and the cvs version (from yesterday).

Is there a solution to this problem?
