[Mapserver-users] Draw lines in a map file

hello mapserver-users,

   How can i draw a line from the map file. I mean without having any shape files. Just draw line with the help of a map file. Correct me if i am wrong. Can we draw a line or dot without shape files or shape files must be inculded in the layer object of a map file. help me
