Can you tell me which VM you are running?
1. In IE:
Tools > Internet Options > Advanced >
scroll down to "Microsoft VM" and check:
"Java console enabled"
2. If you are not running a Microsoft VM it will listed in
this section. e.g. "Sun Java VM" or similar.
3. If Java console was not already enabled, quit IE and
then restart it.
4. In IE:
View > Java Console
The version information will be the first line.
I have added your suggestion of '-target 1.1' to the build script, but I
would also like to better understand the problem you are encountering.
