[Mapserver-users] How can I connect to a point data sourece in an ODBC database

How can I display point data on my maps from a database eg: MS SQL or
access. All I have is a single table with a field for x and one for y and
some for attribute data. Is this possible? How?

If so what format must the x and y be, decimal degrees?
