[Mapserver-west] List introductions

Hi there Josh,
I live and work in Portland Oregon.  I have been using Mapserver for
about 4 years now and do open source GIS exclusively.  I am a software
engineer, turned GIS guy.  I do a lot of custom development and deal
mostly with GRASS and Mapserver.  I would love to get together sometime
and chat.  I make it up to Seattle every once in a while so I will
definitely let you know the next time I make the trip.  

Sorry I missed you at the conference, but I also had a great time.  What
type of work are mainly doing?  Any areas of common interest would be
great to know... It is always nice to have someone close by to bounce
ideas around with.

Hi all.  I live in Seattle and have a background focusing on GIS
analysis using ESRI products. [/end 12 step]

But I've recently become interested focusing more on the interactive
maps and open source techniques. I really enjoyed the OSG05 conference
in Minneapolis.

I'd be happy to meet up with any local folks who would like to chat
about cool projects and mapserver techniques and beer festivals.  It
does seem like mamy posts imply a Canadian origin, but if any
Washington/Oregon people are reading this, let me know!
