[Mapserver-west] Question about GML3

Hi, 

I am looking for a function, which can reading GML3 and generate a image in GIF/PNG format as a Web Map Service. By reading the log available at http://dl.maptools.org/dl/mapserver_Changelog.txt, I found that Mapserver 4.6.X can just support output GML3, on the other word, GML3 writer. As a result, does Mapserver support GML3 reading function? 

I wonder whether my research have been done correctly, and also wanna collect some suggestions by experts. Please feel free to contact me for sharing experience.
