[Mapserver-west] Problem in mapserver using java

Are there examples of applications in mapserver wrote in java? 
I am having problem when use true type fonts on my application.

labelObj label = new labelObj();
label.setType(MS_FONT_TYPE.MS_TRUETYPE);
label.setFont("vera");
label.setSize(12);
label.setMinsize(12);
label.setPosition(MS_LABEL_POSITIONS.MS_CC.swigValue());
