Hi,

I'm using MS4W Base installer 0.8 and I installed 3 applications : CWC2
1.0.5, GMap75 and MapLab 3.0 pre1.

On the main MS4W page, I see 3 applictions with some links, but these links
are not working, except for CWC2 apps.

What I'm doing wrong ?

Hi,

did you copy the httpd.conf files for all applications into the 
/ms4w/httpd.d/ directory and restart Apache?

Every application has its own httpd_applicationname.conf file in the 
/ms4w/httpd.d/ directory.

Hi,

can you compare the aliases in your .conf files with the links set in the 
pkg.html files.

E.g. for Maplab 3.0:

in the conf file:
Alias /maplab/ "/ms4w/apps/maplab-3.0/htdocs/"

in the pkg.html file
<a href="/maplab/">

It could also be that your Maplab application is interfering with your 
Maplab3 application for instance (as they use the same alias). Try 
removing the httpd_maplab.conf file and restarting Apache to see if Maplab 
3.0 then works.

BTW: Are you using the ms4w built-in Apache or your own Apache server?

Hi,

try changing your links in the pkg.html file to mapserv_40.exe? instead of 
mapserv_40?

<a href="/cgi-bin/mapserv_40?map=/ms4w/apps/gmap/htdocs/gmap75_wms.map&">

should be:

<a 
href="/cgi-bin/mapserv_40.exe?map=/ms4w/apps/gmap/htdocs/gmap75_wms.map&">

Also verify if the Mapserver CGI you have in the cgi-bin directory is 
named "mapserv_40.exe" and not e.g. mapserv_41.exe or mapserv.exe.

Are you planning to built a mapserv_41.exe with support to
POSTGIS to use in ms4w?

I´m having some problems to load data from postgis. And at
postgis-list they tell me to get the latest cvs of
mapserver, but i don´t have experience in compiling and a
compiler on my XP.

My setting are: On a XP - MS4W, and on a RedHat 9 the
postgres+postgis;

When i use the mapserv_40.exe this error:
"
msDrawMap(): Image handling error. Failed to draw layer
named 'uf'. "

So, i try 4.0.1

msDrawMap(): Image handling error. Failed to draw layer

prep_DB(): Query error. Error executing POSTGIS DECLARE
(the actual query) statement: 'DECLARE mycursor BINARY

After i try the mapserv_41.exe this error:

msPOSTGISLayerOpen(): Query error. msPOSTGISLayerOpen
called but unimplemented! (mapserver not compiled with
postgis support) "

Any suggestion?
