I have filed a ticket for this request 
(http://bugzilla.maptools.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1964).  Note that you can 
also file tickets there, as that helps keep track of requests/problems 
for each MS4W release (as emails are often forgotten).

The next MS4W will include a new version of the mssql plugin, and then 
you can use that build to followup in the associated MapServer ticket 
(http://trac.osgeo.org/mapserver/ticket/2786)
