Hi Lars,
MS4W 3.0's Apache requires the "VC++ 2008 Redistributable Package"
installed on your system (download at
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=9B2DA534-3E03-4391-8A4D-074B9F2BC1BF&displaylang=en).
Give that a try and let the list know how it goes...I will make sure
this is documented.
