Hi
I am trying to install ms4w_3.0_beta10 on a Windows Server 2003 machine. This is an upgrade from an earlier ms4w based on Apache 2.2.9 and Mapserver 5.2.0. When I try to run the apache-install.exe, it fails, and gives a message to the effect that it is unable to execute the file. The problem relates to the line:
httpd -k install -n "Apache MS4W Web Server"
Trying to execute this from a CMD window says the System is unable to execute this file.
Checking in Windows Event Viewer mentions Microsoft.VC90.CRT. The referenced assembly is not installed on your system.
Has anyone come across this before? Are there particular MS Visual C Runtime dlls that need to be on the system?
Many thanks,
Robert Sanson
