Hi David,

Use the following command to obtain the PHP version:

C:\ms4w\Apache\cgi-bin>php -v
PHP 5.3.5 (cli) (built: Jan  7 2011 14:01:43)
Copyright (c) 1997-2010 The PHP Group
Zend Engine v2.3.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2010 Zend Technologies

I am running MapServer 5.3-dev (ms4w) and I'm wondering what version of PHP is being shipped with that.  I'm trying to use PHP date functions and they don't seem to work as documented so I'm wondering if I need to look at different PHP documentation.  How can I find out the PHP version?
