[MS4W-Users] MapServer Tutorial Help Needed

Hello,

Welcome to the MapServer community :)

For MS4W users (this is what this mailing list is for) you are able to
install several add-on applications that will help you learn MapServer (see
the "Applications Packaged for MS4W" section on
http://www.maptools.org/ms4w/index.phtml?page=downloads.html).  The Itasca
demo that you refer to is available there, ready to use, no configuration
required.

If you are an OSGeo4W user, you can use the Advanced Install option in the
OSGeo4W installer and in the "Web_Applications" section there is a MapServer
Tutorial there for installation.

Some other notes for you:

- general MapServer questions (not related to MS4W) should be sent to the
MapServer users mailing list, where over 2 thousand users follow along
(subscribe at http://mapserver.org/community/lists.html#mapserver-users)
- general OSGeo4W questions should be sent to its mailing list (subscribe at
http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/osgeo4w-dev)
