[MS4W-Users] issue with httpd.exe - using nearly 100% of cpu

Hi Mark,

Hmm that does sound tricky. I personally never mix MS4W/dll versions on
production servers for my clients for this reason. If I had to guess I
would check into the Windows services that are started on reboot: I have
been on client's machines before where an IIS service began conflicting
with an Apache service after rebooting, as one was supposed to be
disabled (to avoid port conflicts).

Remember you can always contact me directly for custom MS4W builds for
your production needs.

Thanks for using the MS4W suite.

It turns out that httpd.exe was using nearly 100% of the computer time. Does anyone know what could be causing the problem?

I am running two copies of MS4W, one of them is an older one that is compatible with our older mapping applications (GeoMOOSE 2.2), and another one another partition that is running the beta version of Mapserver that includes Mapcache. In addition we have ArcGIS Server which uses IIS. The server has been stable the last several months.
