----------------------------------------------------------------------------------<br>Now I tried <a href="http://localhost:8080/%28some" target="_blank">http://localhost:8080/ (some</a> body told me apache uses default port no. 8080) to test apache installation but it does not show any thing. <br>

Note: When I am trying to open the localhost or <pre><a href="http://localhost/cgi-bin/mapserv.exe?" target="_blank">http://localhost/cgi-bin/mapserv.exe?</a> (for checking that mapserver working properly ), browser asking for <br>
