[OSRS-PROJ] Belgium projection, to lcc or not to lcc ?

I have checked the projection list at
http://www.remotesensing.org/geotiff/proj_list/

This states the belgian use a modified form of lcc with two parallels
which does not seem to be supported by proj.4

ESRI however simply states it is Lambert Conformal Conical and list the
parameters at:

http://www.esribelux.com/english/utils/utils.htm

Is there anyone listening who has used the belgian system, i am
wondering how big the error could be if we simply pretend it is standard
Lambert Conformal Conical like ESRI seems to be doing ?
