Yes, it is possible including datum transformation:

GaussBoaga fuso Est (Rome40/GB/Zone2) to Lat/Long with datum tranformation:
cs2cs +init=epsg:26592 +towgs84=-225,-65,9 +to +proj=latlong +datum=WGS84

GaussBoaga fuso Ovest (Rome40/GB/Zone1) with datum transformation"
cs2cs +init=epsg:26591 +towgs84=-225,-65,9 +to +proj=latlong +datum=WGS84
