[OSRS-PROJ] Need to do NAD83 to NAD27 datum shift

Hi,
 
I am completely new to the world of proj4. I am trying to use pj_init
and
pj_datum_transform to shift the coordinates 30.274672, -97.740330 from
NAD83 to NAD27. Please help.
