[Proj] Differences in Output between proj and cs2cs

many Thanks to both of you for your helpful answers! I didn't know that there 
are projections that are only valid for spheres and that eqc is one of them.

To confirm your answers I tried

cs2cs -v +proj=longlat +a=6378137 +to  +proj=eqc +lat_ts=48.8 +lon_0=9.48
9.48 48.8
0.00    5432391.15 0.00

which is exactly the result I got from proj.
