[Proj] Re: WGS84 to NAD27 latlong

With Frank Warmerdam's help, I was able to 
determine that I had to build proj after
extracting proj-datumgrid-1.3.tar.gz into
the nad directory under the build root
before configuring and compiling.  After
that things are working as expected.

I would think most people would need the 
datumshift stuff, so I'm a bit surprised
that it isn't directly a part of the build
with an option to leave it out for those
who don't want it -- rather than the way
it is now distributed.  

Nonetheless, I know how to do it now, thanks
to the friendly help on this list -- it's 
much appreciated!
