[Proj] Long. Lat conversion to Cartesian coordinates

Hi,
I have a file named asd.txt. This file contain longitudinal latitudinal
coordinates points. When I use proj +proj=poly asd.txt command. I got
the answer in the command line. However I want the answer to be sorted
in  a new file. 
Can any one help?
