[Proj] Mollweide projection: coordinate wrapping ?

Hi all,

I just noticed that coordinates are wrapped when using proj to compute
lon/lats from projection coordinates for the mollweide projection (I
have not checked with other projections though):

[a001673 at nrlx052 ~]$ proj +proj=moll +lon_0=0 +ellps=WGS84
180 0
18040095.70	0.00
180 45
14538644.71	5340244.91
180 90
0.00	9020047.85

[a001673 at nrlx052 ~]$ invproj +proj=moll +lon_0=0 +ellps=WGS84
15000000 5340244.91
174d17'16.995"W	45dN


when running invproj here, the x y value is outside the "main globe"
picture. The mathematical formula allows for this, but I was wondering
if there was a way to return * * instead when we go out from the "main
globe" ?
