Dear all,
I am trying to convert geodesic coordinates to the Homolosine projection. Using the cs2cs tool I get the following error:
$ cs2cs +init=epsg:4326 +to '+proj=igh +lat_0=0 +lon_0=0 +datum=WGS84 +units=m +no_defs' lon_lat.txt
Using to definition: proj=igh +lat_0=0 +lon_0=0 +datum=WGS84 +units=m +no_defs
Rel. 4.9.3, 15 August 2016
<cs2cs>:
projection initialization failure
cause: unknown projection id
program abnormally terminated
However, both systems are known to proj:
$ proj -lp | grep igh
igh : Interrupted Goode Homolosine
sch : Spherical Cross-track Height
$ cat /usr/share/proj/epsg | grep 4326
<4326> +proj=longlat +datum=WGS84 +no_defs <>
This is happening on Ubuntu 18.04 with proj 4.4:
$ man proj | grep Rel.
mentation for Release 4.
2000/03/21 Rel. 4.4 PROJ(1)
Any hints on what may be wrong?
Thank you.
