Could you explain the relationship between Authalic Latitude and Equal
Area projections? There is an article by John Snyder at
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://www.jstor.org/stable/2562645?seq=1">http://www.jstor.org/stable/2562645?seq=1</a>, but it's a bit above my
mathematical head.<br>
