Mozilla 1.0 and 1.0.6 are very old. The current release is 1.7.12.
Althought it is not perfect, the 1.7.x versions are far more stable
than 1.x when it comes to running Java/LiveConnect applets. I would
encourage you to upgrade Mozilla.
